PLAN SUMMARY

Who better to present this proposal than the Spalding Foundation for Injured Drivers, Inc., an organization whose mission is to supply monetary aid to drivers, crewmen and racing officials injured in a race-related incident.   We want to help make Shangri-La II Motor Speedway one of the best and safest asphalt tracks for our drivers and at the same time raise funds for the foundation.  Put these two objectives together and we come up with -- Foam Safety Blocks

WHY YOU AS A SPONSOR/DONOR? 

Anyone who helps this project succeed will benefit.  Not only as a means of advertising your business/organization, but also the  personal satisfaction that you will achieve when your “foam safety block” has helped to prevent a possible tragedy.  We all know there are risks involved in motorsports, but there are many preventative safety precautions that are available and “foam safety blocks” is one BIG safety precaution!!!

Quote!  “If we perhaps see our block demolished  with foam flying, we’ll  know this plan has succeeded and that we may have prevented a driver from serious injury”

PLAN OF ACTION

The foam blocks will be used exclusively at Shangri-La II Speedway, Tioga Center, NY.

With your support, the volunteers for the Spalding Foundation will be responsible for this project and  intend to have each foam block, lettered and in place for the first Shangri-La II event of 2011.   Help us make this happen!!!!!

To meet our objective, this project needs to be completed, with committed sponsors and foam blocks no later than March 1, 2011.

You will receive the following for your Advertising/tax deductible contribution:

1. Your company name, address, telephone, email/or a simple company logo, printed on a 3’x 4’x 8’ foam safety block --Printing will appear on the 4x 8 ft surface of the block

2. One color printing

3. Your foam safety block on display in the turns at Shangri-La II Speedway prior to the first event of season 2011. 

4. A list of “Foam Block Sponsors” will also be listed on the Spalding Foundation for Injured Drivers, Inc. website @ www.spaldingfoundation.org

5. Your sponsorship/ad will be seen in a WEEKLY Driver Roster* flyer that will be made available for fans and teams at the track by the Spalding Foundation for Injured Drivers, Inc.

Your Cost:

This is to be considered a tax deductible charitable donation to the Spalding Foundation for Injured Drivers, Inc.. We will gladly supply you with our IRS ID Tax number to use for charitable tax deduction purpose’s. 

Plan One:  Single Block-$250.00 per block ( Cost  for each block + printing will be $210.00, with the remaining $40.00 being added to the Spalding Foundation for Injured Drivers, Inc. funds.)

Plan Two:  Set of 2 block with duplicate  printing on both blocks - $450.00

You, of course, are welcome to purchase as many blocks as you like!!!!!

 *The “WEEKLY DRIVER ROSTER” flyer, listing drivers, car numbers, hometowns, etc., will be sold each week  at Shangri-La II Speedway  for $1.00 ea, with proceeds going to the Spalding Foundation for Injured Drivers, Inc.  In addition to driver information, “foam block” sponsors will be listed.

DEADLINE IS MARCH 1
